Brett de Geus and Getting Back to the Majors
Brett de Geus came to the majors in 2021 despite not playing as high as Double-A. Since he was a Rule Five Draft Pick, the Diamondbacks could not send him to the minors when he started struggling. If they did so before the end of the season, they would have had to send him back to the Dodgers.
